Engadin

Last sunday....A whole big grp of us went...about 9 of us...took a 4 hour train ride to St.Motriz... to see the place...according to our german teacher... its a very nice place...
Took lots of photos...but it was damn cold...maybe because its near the lake... most of us were freezing...

Maienfeld

Its the place where the author of Heidi wrote the book...Its said to be where the real heidi once lived... Shiying and I went there while the rest had a whole day of presentations to attend... hiked to the heididorf...but got lost(as usual) at first...but its because the signs were very confusing to follow with... there was this huge vineyard along the way...very nice scenary...nothing like i have seen so far in switzerland...

First stop was Heidi fountain...a sculpture made in memory of the author of Heidi... its at this big patch of grass land... where pple can have campfire and picnic...almost tot we were lost on the way there cause the signs were very far away from each other...

we had to follow the red colour signs with "Heidiweg" on it

we took longer than required to get to Heididorf.... and when we reached...it started to rain shortly after....so we can't go up further into the hills to visit the place where heidi's grandfather used to lived...

Saw lots of World Cup merchandise there... but its very expensive... so we just took pictures of it...
Such a great difference in prices... spent extra 1 hour trip to germany..and u save lots.... if i have the chance to go again... i will bring my 42 litres bag... its really worth the trip...

Bern

Day trip in Bern, Captial of Switzerland... although alot of pple thought that Zurich was the Captial...nope... Bern is the Captial of Switzerland...
Its much more beautiful than Zurich although u can't see the Alps... but there's a river in the middle of it...

Streets of Bern

there are lots of figurine fountain within the old town... from 15th century to the 18th century...
Wanted to see bears..but it was closed and i tot i met some singaporeans there... looks like it..but can't be sure...cause we din ask...

Its also the place where Einstein once lived...
There is this big cathedral...although its very beautiful, very holy... lots of drug addicts smoke drugs near by...could smelled it easily....

Since it's the first day of world cup...here its WM for short... think its german... can't really be sure wat it stands for though... watch germany verus costa rica outside....Uncle Ronald's shop...
watched the second half...saw three goals...

Bad Taste Party

Yup, that's right. It's Bad Taste Party last wednesday at Elephant! Woohoo~ Elephant is the best club in St Gallen, according to most people. Anyway, what do u have to do for Bad Taste Party? Just dress weird and perhaps ugly! Well, we tried..but we still looked good! Cannot blame us right? =P Here are the pics!

Raining Ice

It rain ice...for a few times last week... think it even snowed slightly...weird weather... so cold in summer...
bored from studying...don't feel like studying for exam.....

Jungfrau Region

Spent the whole day there..
First stop Lauterbraunnen..it's a UNSECO natural heritage...there are glacier waterfall in this "cave"... 10 of them... the only one in the world where people can walk in to...

Next we continued our journey to Jungfraujoch... on the way up... it became quite cloudy...so we couldn't see anyting while on jungfrau... so we visited the ice palace instead...

the river u see in the pic, is the river i white water raft in.... and there's this handwasher/dryer machine in the toilet which i tot was quite innovative...

Luzern

My dad came to Milan for business trip so he enrouted to zurich to visit me, and i bought him around to Luzern and Junfrau region...
